Private Label & OEM Program
Private Label & OEM Medical Supplies for U.S. Distributors
We build the branded supply program around the right product, packaging and document set — not the logo alone.
We support qualified distributors, pharmacy groups, healthcare retailers and medical supply organizations developing selected diabetes-care products, injection accessories and medical consumables under their own brands. We coordinate product selection, specification control, packaging, artwork, documentation and repeat-supply planning as one connected project.
Program overview
We start with the product configuration, then build the brand program around it
We do not treat a medical private-label project as a logo-replacement exercise. Before artwork is finalized, we identify the exact product family, model or reference number, key specifications, pack quantities, packaging format, destination market, documentation scope and responsible commercial roles.
Once that base is clear, we can review which branding and packaging elements are practical, which items require additional technical or quality review, and which records are available before production versus only after a lot or transaction is confirmed.
We coordinate
- Available product and SKU selection.
- Specification and pack-count confirmation.
- Private-label packaging and artwork review.
- Label-content and document matching.
- MOQ, production and replenishment planning.
- Order-stage traceability and shipping records where applicable.
We do not assume
- That every catalog product can be customized.
- That one product’s claims or documents apply to another SKU.
- That distributor branding automatically changes regulatory responsibility.
- That a fixed MOQ or lead time applies before the project is defined.
- That a buyer reference authorizes copying another brand’s protected artwork.
Programs commonly reviewed for
Support pathways
We help define the right support scope before product, packaging and project requirements are confirmed
| Support pathway | When it fits | Typical support scope | Review level |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Supply Support | Buyers who need established product and packaging configurations. | Standard SKU, standard branding, available documentation and selected inventory options. | Standard review |
| Private Label Support | Distributors and retailers building their own brand around an available product. | Customer brand, retail artwork, pack count, barcode, distributor details and selected inserts. | Extended review |
| OEM Configuration Review | Programs requiring broader review of product or packaging configuration. | Available specification options, component combinations, individual pack, carton or kit configuration. | Project-specific review |
| Custom Kit Support | Programs combining selected compatible consumables into one supply format. | Component scope, assembly responsibility, pack structure, labeling, lot control and fulfillment. | Project-specific review |
Product scope
Selected medical consumables can be reviewed for private label or OEM supply
Availability must be confirmed by exact SKU, packaging format, quantity and destination market.
Product eligibility is not determined by appearance alone. We confirm the actual manufacturer, specification, packaging structure and documentation before treating a product as private-label ready.
Product & label control
We freeze the evidence chain before artwork becomes a production file
We verify before artwork approval
- Product family, model and reference number.
- Gauge, length, capacity or other key specification.
- Pack quantity, individual packaging and case configuration.
- Sterilization method and shelf-life fields where applicable.
- Legal manufacturer / distributor information.
- Applicable document and claim scope.
- Barcode or UDI-related fields where applicable.
The buyer should confirm
- Customer brand name and licensed brand assets.
- Company and distributor details.
- Destination market and distribution channel.
- Required language and internal label requirements.
- Barcode data supplied by the responsible party.
- Approved claims and any required regulatory review.
- Final written approval before production.
We review whether the customer is being presented as a distributor, brand owner, labeler or another responsible party before finalizing the label structure. We do not describe registration or listing as product approval.
Customization scope
We separate brand customization from changes that may affect the product itself
Logo, brand name, approved colors, product series and distributor/company information.
Usually artwork-levelRetail box artwork, pack count, barcode placement, lot/expiry fields, storage and origin information.
Packaging reviewPouch artwork, product identity, symbols, lot/expiry areas and responsible-party information where feasible.
Higher MOQ may applyShipping marks, carton quantities, receiving labels, IFU, product inserts and multilingual literature where feasible.
Project-specificSelected available specification, color, component combination or kit composition.
Technical reviewMaterial, intended use, performance or critical design changes are not treated as simple branding changes.
Additional evaluationArtwork control
We use a controlled artwork workflow so the approved package matches the approved product
- 01Provide the packaging template
We provide an available dieline, artwork template or packaging specification for the confirmed product.
- 02Receive buyer brand assets
You provide editable logo files, company information, barcode data, required language and existing brand guidance.
- 03Review content against the product
We check product identity, pack quantity, symbols, company information and unsupported or mismatched wording.
- 04Issue a digital proof
We prepare a review version for buyer comments and corrections.
- 05Arrange a sample or printed proof where required
Physical proof availability depends on product, packaging process and project structure.
- 06Receive written approval
Production should begin only after the final version is approved in writing.
- 07Release the controlled production version
We retain the approved artwork as the production reference for the applicable order; later changes require a new review.
We do not copy another company’s logo, protected artwork, trade dress or unsupported claims. Reference products may be used to understand specifications or design preferences only.
Typical project deliverables
We organize the project around a clear set of approved outputs
Actual deliverables depend on the selected product, manufacturer, market and project stage.
Project planning
We confirm MOQ, timing and replenishment only after the support scope is defined
MOQ depends on the exact SKU, retail box or individual pouch customization, printing process, language, barcode requirements, packaging material and annual volume.
Timing is built after product feasibility, documentation scope, artwork readiness, approval rounds, sample requirements, production scheduling and shipping method are known.
Selected standard TonmiCare products may use U.S.-based inventory. Private-label inventory normally requires separate production, stock ownership, forecast and replenishment planning.
We do not publish a single private-label MOQ or fixed lead time across unrelated SKUs. Project-specific figures are confirmed after scope review and included in the written RFQ.

What we need before we can complete a useful project review
Responsibility boundaries
We coordinate the project, but responsibilities still depend on the actual commercial and regulatory roles
We coordinate available product options, packaging templates, artwork review, documentation, production planning and supply execution for the agreed project.
The buyer provides accurate company, brand, barcode, market and project information, approves the final artwork and completes internal commercial or regulatory review.
Some changes, documents and label structures depend on the legal manufacturer, destination market, manufacturer approval, quality review or official regulatory records.
Frequently asked questions
Private label & OEM FAQ
What is the difference between private label and OEM?
We generally use “private label” for an existing available product supplied with eligible customer branding and packaging changes. OEM can involve broader review of specification, packaging format, component selection or product presentation.
Can every product be private labeled?
No. We confirm eligibility by exact SKU, packaging structure, quantity, manufacturer, destination market and documentation requirements.
Can we customize the individual pouch?
Individual-pack customization may be possible for selected products, but it can require a higher MOQ and more detailed labeling review than retail-box customization.
Can you copy a competitor’s packaging?
No. We can use a reference product to understand specifications or design preferences, but protected logos, artwork, trade dress and unsupported claims should not be copied.
Can the product specification be changed?
Selected available specifications may be reviewed. Changes affecting materials, intended use, performance or critical design elements may require additional technical, quality or regulatory evaluation and may not be feasible.
What is the MOQ?
MOQ varies by SKU, packaging level, printing process, language, production setup and volume. We confirm a project-specific MOQ after reviewing the packaging and product scope.
How long does a private-label project take?
Timing depends on product confirmation, artwork readiness, approval rounds, sample requirements, production scheduling, quantity and shipping method. We prepare a project timeline after the scope is defined.
Can private-label inventory be held in the U.S.?
Selected programs can be reviewed for U.S. inventory and replenishment planning, but customized products are not automatically held in U.S. stock.
Who is responsible for final label compliance?
Responsibilities depend on the legal manufacturer, labeler, distributor, importer and destination market. We coordinate available information and artwork review, while final compliance must be confirmed by the responsible parties.
