CONFIRM BEFORE ORDERING
Confirm the Cup, Cooling Bottle & Medication Storage Requirement
“Insulin cooling cup” does not define one validated storage
temperature or duration. Approve the exact cup and cooling insert
against the medication format, labeled storage requirement,
preparation method, expected ambient conditions, required carry time
and available performance evidence.
01
Cup Model & Internal Fit

02
Cooling Bottle Preparation
Confirm insert type, preparation, quantity, position and handling instructions.
03
Temperature Requirement
Match the system to the current labeled storage requirements of the specific medication.
04
Performance & Packaging
Review test conditions, cooling duration evidence, documentation and carton configuration.
INSULIN STORAGE BOUNDARY
Insulin storage requirements are product-specific. Follow the
medication manufacturer’s current label and storage instructions.
FDA advises avoiding extreme temperatures and states that insulin
should not be used if it has been frozen. If frozen or very cold
cooling components are used, the selected configuration should
avoid freezing the insulin. Do not market a fixed temperature range
or duration unless the exact cup-and-insert configuration has
supporting performance data.
